Samantha Burton

Welcome!

My name is Samantha but I go by Sam. I am a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida and I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

In 2024, I met a friend who introduced me to the idea of teaching English in a different country. She recently reruend from doing that in Korea and raved about her time there.

After some deliberation, I decided to take the leap and apply using a recruitment site called Aclipse. I got connected with a recruiter and worked with him to move foraward with my decision.

Now I am offically moving to Dageu, South Korea in May 2025.

I wanted to document some of my thoughts and the process of getting to KOrea as well as my time there. Not only for me but for my family and friends back home!

I will be talking about what I am experiencing, how I am feeling and how God is supporting me and my faith journey.
